Safety/Health Representative - huge, diverse and growing operation

FMC operations here in Wyoming are growing, but our reportable injuries are diminishing; we've reduced that metric 54% over the past five years, and you'll help us drive to zero. While you'll contribute in multiple areas, you'll invest a large portion of your time in provide regulatory guidance for your assigned facilities, including developing and implementing safety processes. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have a bachelor's degree, preferably in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering, and five to seven years of practical safety experience, with significant safety responsibility, in mining, manufacturing or heavy industry. You also will need strong hands-on, in-the-trenches safety experience in an OSHA facility; experience with OSHA VPP is a strong plus. In addition you will need a demonstrated ability to provide training, both one-on-one on the plant floor and in group settings. Experience with behavior-based safety processes is preferred.
