Free Online Courses NSMS has teamed up with OSHAcademy and sponsors 15 free online safety management courses. This training uses a "high-touch" as well as high-tech approach to learning. Each course requires students to study the course material and complete essays, multiple-choice questions, and a final exam. Students also have the opportunity to submit comments and questions to the instructor. This opportunity for students to interact with a real qualified instructor helps meet OSHA quidelines for online training. The mix of learning ensures students are able to recall facts and articulate concepts and principles in their own words, and it helps them prepare for the Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) certification exam. - Pre-Management Safety and Health Certification Programs (CSS/CST). National Safety Management Society (NSMS), in collaboration with the Petroleum Education Council
(PEC), has developed a new competency recognition and validation program that will give
technicians and supervisors a means to formally demonstrate they possess the critical skills,

- Free Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) Preparation. In cooperation with the OSHAcademy Safety Training Network, OHS professionals preparing to sit for the CSHM exam administered by our sister organization, the Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM) have access to over 2200 questions and a thousand pages of reference materials for study at no charge. NSMS also offers several on-site workshops that are brought directly to your company, local chapter, city, professional association or regional conference for both members (at a discount) and non-members (full-fee). Courses that are currently available are:
